Bell times
Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.
It's important for students to arrive on time each day.
Parents are asked to ensure that children do not arrive before 8:55am.
If care is needed before 8:55am, please contact our out of school care provider, TASK.

Attendance
All children enrolled at school are required to attend school on each day that instruction is provided. All schools record daily attendances and records of attendance are monitored by Learning and Wellbeing officers.
Please notify the school if your child will be absent from school and reason for absence. Please state if your child is sick, has an appointment or is on leave / holiday as we use different marking codes for different reasons in our attendance system.
Parents are asked to
- Email our Principal OR
- Inform the class teacher or Principal prior to absence if known
If parents don’t inform the school by one of the above methods, they must send a note to school / email Principal explaining any absence when their child returns to school.
Leave for extended absence from school greater than 5 days in total during the year (eg family holiday, but not sick leave) must be applied for and permission granted by the Principal. Forms for this application are available from the Principal.
Late arrival
Children arriving late for school must be taken to their classroom by the parent / carer who brings them to school. The classroom teacher will log their arrival time. Please provide a reason for late arrival so that the correct code can be used in our attendance system. If your child is going to be extremely late or has a prearranged appointment, please email the Principal before 9:25am or inform the class teacher the day before.
Early departure
Children are not allowed to leave the school during the day unless parents personally call at the school to collect their children. Parents must go to the classroom or inform teacher on playground duty or the Principal to log the early departure time before taking their child from the school premises during the school day. If the early departure is known prior, please inform the principal or class teacher. Please provide a reason for early departure so that the suitable code can entered in our attendance system.
